Luciano Berio selected Gabriele Cassone to premiere his works for solo trumpet: Sequenza X for solo trumpet, and Kol-Od, performed with L'Ensemble Intercontemporain under the direction of Pierre Boulez. Famous international conductors have requested Gabriele Cassone for performances of the most demanding trumpet repertoire. Solo concerts in major international theatres including the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Cité de la Musique in Paris, La Scala in Milano, the Mozarteum in Salzburg, New York's Carnegie Hall, the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London and the Vienna Konzerthaus.

Frits Damrow

Professor of trumpet at the University of the Arts in Zürich, Switzerland. As a soloist Frits Damrow played with orchestras like the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Symfonietta Amsterdam, Rotterdam Chamber Orchestra, Italian Chamber Orchestra, the National Orchestra of Lithuania, the Philharminic Orchestra of Transilvania in Rumania, Slovak Symfonietta and the Symphony Orchestra of Seoul. As a chamber musician Frits Damrow played in different groups like the Amsterdam Bach Soloists, the Netherlands Wind Ensemble, the Ebony Band, the Brass Quintet and Brass Ensemble of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.

Soloist and first trumpet at La Scalaof Milan from 2000, he was formally first trumpet of the “Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana” and Genoa’s “Teatro Carlo Felice”. Professor at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana of Lugano.
