ERVIS GEGA
Ervis Gega is one of the great violinist personalities of her generation. She is violin Professor at the Hochschule für Musik Mainz and the Peter Cornelius Konservatorium. Ervis continues the great tradition of her legendary teacher Yfrah Neaman, supporting young talented students. For many years she has been performing and teaching chamber music at the Villa Musica. The Villa Musica is one of the foremost chamber music academies in Europe, training a selected group of highly gifted students. 
As the first concertmaster and soloist of the Klassische Philharmonie Bonn, the biggest orchestra academy in Germany, she continues to educate a generation of high-level musicians in the art of orchestra playing and enables them to perform successfully in major concert halls throughout Germany.
International press emphasizes her full, warm beautiful tone and the glowing passion of her interpretations. She is praised by the press as "violin technical genius" and "musical vulcano". The Strad magazine called her a "talent with rarity". 
Born into a family of musicians, Ervis received her first lessons from her parents, both violin pedagogues. She was only eight years old when she gave her first public performance with Felix Mendelssohn concerto in E-minor with orchestra. Praised as a Wunderkind by the press, she came to Germany at a very young age. 
At the age of sixteen, her musical talent was discovered by Prof.Yfrah Neaman who took her into his class at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. There she completed the concert-artist diploma with the Premier Prix. Ervis is a price winner at several prices and international competitions.  At 2001 she returned back to Germany.
Ervis has performed concertos by Mendelssohn, Paganini, Tchaikovsky, Brahms, Bruch, Mozart, Saint-Saëns, Kraus and Bach with various orchestras all over the world: in Europe, USA, South America and Far East. She performs regularly as a soloist and chamber musicians in all major concerts halls throughout Germany, like Herkulessaal-München, Liederhalle-Stuttgart, Konzerthaus-Berlin, Rudolf-Oetker-Halle-Bielefeld, Die Glocke-Bremen, Leitzhalle-Hamburg, NDR-Hannover, Kurhaus-Wiesbaden, Meistersingerhalle-Nürnberg etc.
Her recordings include the chamber music by Henze with the Ensemble Villa Musica, „Sinfonia con violino obligato“ by J. M. Kraus with the Chamber Orchestra Mainz, the first Spohr Duo CD for violin and harp, the Carmen Fantasy by Waxman, Paganini Caprices, and Mozart Sonates.
Numerous portraits, especially recently have been broadcasted
in the German national TV Channels, ARD and ZDF, speaking of her successful career. Concert recordings were also produced by radio stations such as SWR, HR, NDR and WDR.
In April 2016 Ervis Gega was the soloist in the Act of State for the long-time Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hans-Dietrich Genscher. Her live performance with the Klassische Philharmonie Bonn was seen by millions of viewers  in the nationwide broadcast of ZDF.
